Shun Tanaka is a doctoral student at The University of Tokyo, Manufacturing Lab. His research topic is a challenge to the copying principle, and he is working on the development of a comprehensive error compensation system that is independent of the machine configuration and machining process. He graduated with a master's degree in mechanical engineering in 2022 under the supervision of Prof. Naohiko Sugita.
